Welcome...

Welcome to all of the students that are diving into our experiment...
a blog allowing students in TOK from various schools in the following countries to think, speak and learn through, and with, one another.

China
Ecuador
Germany
Singapore
United Kingdom
United States

Help us build a educational community much bigger than the one we participate in on a daily basis.

Welcome and Enjoy.

Hello from Beijing. My ToK student will posting comments to this site. She is in a unique situation--she is the ONLY grade 11 student at the school. I'll let the TOK students find out more about her.
I'd like to ask this question--
Can non-native speakers ever really understand another language? How much is really lost in translation?

It seems as though the Poudre classes are dominating this blog; please comment! We are getting a little sick of only knowing each others views.

I second that motion - I'd love to get some opinions from people I don't see in class everyday. Please jump in!

Hello, my name is Magdiel Pillado and I come from Curie High School in Chicago, Illinois, USA. I think we should discuss in the following topics and/or questions:

Is the IB program really international?

Do all IB kids who get the diploma get the same, if not similar preparation for college?

Should there be an IB University for future IB teachers and IB alumni?

Hello, Robin Julian here, from Ravenswood School, Sydney Australia. Great to see your blog - my students are itching to communicate with their global IB peers. For any teachers who would like to join a blog for resource/idea sharing and discussion, try my blog: http://tokworld.blogspot.com
